Cash of Caulkers and you...

Today President Obama will talk about a plan that will create up to $3000 in tax refunds and cost around 6 billion dollars. Its the "Cash for Caulkers" program, named after last years successful cash for clunkers program.
The new program will provide incentives for households that upgrade there homes to be more energy efficient. Upgrades include insulation, new windows, and other energy saving (and therefore money saving to the household and power saving to the country) upgrades.
An estimated 2-3 million households would participate and at a savings of 200-500 dollars a year for consumers, it is a good option for those whom are looking to go green or just save money.
With similar regulation and time limits on this program as its predecessor, it has the potential to stimulate similar job growth while providing saving for consumers.
